About me

Hi! I’m Emily, a facilitator, project leader, and the founder of Embodied Comedy, an approach to deepening presence through the tools of improv and theater. My work sits at the intersection of structured leadership and embodied practice: I’ve spent over a decade managing complex projects in corporate environments while also training in somatic and nervous system–informed modalities. I design experiences that help people strengthen their capacity to stay present under pressure, connect more authentically, and build embodied confidence.

Whether I’m working with a corporate team, a classroom, or a creative community, my goal is the same: to offer a practical understanding of the nervous system and a sustainable personal practice of regulation through play. I believe that when we expand our capacity for experiencing, we expand how fully we can show up in our work and in our lives.

Since 2018, I’ve performed improv as a living laboratory for presence, and since 2020, I’ve taught others to do the same. I’m a certified nervous system coach and Ayurvedic wellness coach, and I’m currently pursuing certification in Sacred Theater Somatics. My work integrates performance, embodiment, and applied nervous system science into experiences that build lasting confidence and resilience.
